One of the most important things you can do after purchasing a board from us (or anyone else) is to take care of it! When I create my pieces, I keep in mind that they can last you and your family decades. And even though I pour my heart, passion, and time into everything I create, you’ll need to properly maintain it for a long life.

If you’ve ever owned or had to care for a cast iron skillet then you’ll know exactly what I mean. The good thing is that you don’t need to be as careful with wood BUT, if you don’t properly care for your board then bad things can happen. So just to make things easier, CLICK HERE for a quick reference guide that I made of Do’s & Don’ts when it comes to proper maintenance. This will also include some tips and tricks for pre-dressing a board to help avoid staining.

Along with knowledge, check out our own handmade Conditioners below! We like to keep things classy around here but sometimes everyone needs a good laugh.

  • The first option is our homemade, grass-roots, small batch wood conditioner.

  • The second option is for those of you who love the classic "Gag Gift". However, this stuff works SO well, so in my opinion it's not really a gag gift (wink, wink).
