One of the most important things you can do after purchasing a board from us (or anyone else) is to take care of it! When I create my pieces, I keep in mind that they can last you and your family decades. And even though I pour my heart, passion, and time into everything I create, you’ll need to properly maintain it for a long life.
If you’ve ever owned or had to care for a cast iron skillet then you’ll know exactly what I mean. The good thing is that you don’t need to be as careful with wood BUT, if you don’t properly care for your board then bad things can happen.
